Modniy's latest EP Prosto, is a collection of introspective recordings from 2021 & 2022. Prosto, from the Russian word "simply," is an ode to home, childhood, and simpler times - a letter to the longing that comes with remembering and appreciation that accompanies memories of a distant past.

Each song contemplates the ordinary, from Still Life on Naturmort to essential connections in Maybe It's Time and hazy images of one's home on Meadow. August rounds out the release with calm and dream-like atmospheres.

In turbulent times music can hopefully bring peace to those missing their home. This short collection is released to help raise funds for Helping To Leave - an organization that aids people seeking evacuation from areas of military conflict.
